I'm alive and so is the family. . .

Summer's been crazy, but we're still alive. Garrison finished baseball and took 3rd place over all (out of 10 teams) and due to the rain back in June they took 1st place in the playoffs without even playing. We went to the bbq fundraiser and Garrison scored. Payton finished preschool and enjoyed her time at the center with Wendy. (She had been there since she was 6 weeks old and I went back to work).

Garrison has now started 4th grade and is excited for his class. . .his teacher brings a pet rabbit for the kids to take care of. He is also excited because now he can be a lunch worker. He's still into basketball, although due to a lost ball and a ball that popped. . . he hasn't been playing much. Guess he'll have to get back in the swing of things.

Payton has officially started school. Monday was her first day of kindergarten and loved it. She was so excited. Thank goodness by 7:30 that evening she was ready for bed.

This past weekend we went to Midway for the "Clifford" family reunion. It was neat to see some of Greg's family line. We had great company and great food and the best part was taking the kids to see the horses.

Greg and I are lucky to still be working with our same jobs. Greg had to cut a few hours for a bit of time, but we managed to be okay thanks to my job.

Another thing we did, thanks to Greg for finding the information, is we went to see Kyle Korver promote his sports drink. The kids were all excited to see him and get an autograph picture. Payton always calls him her "boyfriend," so of course we had to get a picture of the two.
